Hire Rules

All good things must come with a few rules, right?

Some of our requirements include a minimum hire of two days and the driver must be aged 25+ for insurance purposes.

Guests are welcome to swap vehicles upon picking up the camper; they are welcome to park their vehicle at our address for the duration of their Camper hire.

Our camper is not suitable to be driven off road or on unsealed, beach tracks so please reconsider hiring The Sweet Escape for any off-grid roadies.

Early pickup and/or late drop off (out of our arranged time) may incur a $30 fee so please ensure you keep in touch if your plans change.

The service fee of $40 helps maintain interior cleaning and topping up condiments / products. This does not cover guest’s cleaning fee. If you require us to clean the van after your hire then please add “Clean me” service via Camplify and note that it does not include the toilet clean. Our service fee also includes a steam clean of the van interior and deep sanitisation.

Well behaved dogs are welcome aboard presuming they are toilet trained and are non destructive. We kindly ask all pet owners to take sole responsibility of their dogs while onboard The Sweet Escape, this means ensuring they are safely harnessed at all times and are out of harms way of sliding / falling objects. A lint roller is included in cleaning supplies, please utilise this to rid of any pet hair before your camper return.

Please follow the instructions to assemble the bed properly. We do not accept any liability or responsiblity for any mishaps / injuries following the bed collapsing due it being assembled incorrectly.

The exact linen or equipment pictured may be subject to change depending on our fluctuation in bookings and the packages selected.

If an accident / emergency occurs or the engine light appears please pull over immediately (where safe to do so) and call Camplify, they will notify RACQ or NRMA and have you sorted asap, phone 1300 416 133

Please clean up and take care of everything you use and consider our next guests by putting everything back as you found it. Otherwise Guests may incur a $50 replacement fee for missing equipment.

The Porta chemical toilet is strictly for emergency use only (we’re talking explosive diarreah and there’s absolutely no place to dig a hole lol). If you desperately have to use it then please ensure the chemicals are used as directed and the toilet is emptied and cleaned upon the camper return otherwise a cleaning fee of $100 may be charged.

The Sweet Escape is designed for a quick escape, not a long journey so please bare this in mind upon your reservation. our guests are welcome to explore and set up around local surroundings within 200km (approx 2hours) of Ipswich Central.

All hires include a full tank of petrol upon departure so please return it full of PETROL UNLEADED 91.

Please report any damage that occurs asap. In an accident you must report it immediately, Who, What, Where and When will be required by Camplify. call them on 1300 416 133 with 24/7 support.
